The combination of businesses being required to temporarily shut down and people staying home due to Covid-19 has caused both big & small businesses to suffer. Although it has been a trying time for all, we have also seen many come together to help others, especially the small businesses in our communities. Following that spirit of altruism and helping others I wanted to feature some local businesses in my area that I love. Please check them out, show them some love, & give them a follow.
And of course a special thank you to all of the first nurses, doctors, first responders and essential workers who are going to work each day, sacrificing their own health and families, to help others.
Blow-N-Dry Beauty Lounge
Our fave blow dry bar & Make-up Lounge. Silvia the owner is the sweetest, and the girls who work there do an amazing job. No scissors, no dyes. Just perfect blow drys every time!

A Little Off The Top Hair Studio
This little gem close to Dadeland mall has a retro rustic chic feel. I am in love with their decor as much as their amazing work. They are also new to the Pinecrest neighborhood. Their studio is made up of "Independent creatives who value giving their clients an authentic experience." They are a full service salon & barber shop.

Reach Massage
Stacy, owner of Reach Massage, is a licensed massage therapist specializing in deep tissue, and sports massage. You will feel amazingly refreshed once she is done with you. She travels to you in the Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay, and Miami Area.
@Reach_Massage
The inspiration for our creating this page makes drool worthy "Messy" cakes & cupcakes you will want to drop everything to try. They are "perfectly imperfect" and we wouldn't have it any other way. I just hope my husband took my "This is what I want for Mother's Day" text seriously...

Me and A Tree Skin Care
The ONLY soaps I have used since I found them almost 8 years ago at a local farmer's market we both set up shop at. They are great for sensitive skin. They have bars for men & women, along with wonderful smelling soy candles, and other skincare goodies. All of their products are made by Michelle, the owner, and her hubby, David. Truly a labor of love for them.
Although they don't have a brick & mortar store you can find them at farmer's markets in Miami & Broward or shop online

Aromas De Peru
My favorite restaurant during this quarantine! They have it all, traditional Peruvian favorites, sushi, ceviche, steaks & even pasta. Everything I have ordered has always been delicious. I am a big foodie, so trust me when I say you won't be disappointed. They have 5 locations in Miami, including their new one by me in Palmetto Bay.
